It has also demonstrated a reduction in staff sick days by 30.27% (coughs, colds and flu). This revolutionary product has been specifically designed to protect common touch points against contamination and is clinically proven in collaboration with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Using the Veraco Products

Simple and easy!
Apply Veraco to existing touch points using the self adhesive backing. No tools required!
Once installed the product will work 24/7 to inhibit microbial growth, preventing reproduction and their ability to survive. No extra effort or change of cleaning protocol is necessary.
Replace after 1 year! The products have a 12 month shelf life once in use.

Cleaning and Maintenance

It is compatible with any cleaning protocols and resistant to most chemical agents, alcohol, diluted acids, oils. The product can be cleaned/disinfected by all conventional cleaning methods, using non-abrasive accessories, cleaning products, detergents or products currently used in healthcare environments. No decrease of the activity after 365 cleaning operations with water, ethanol, bleach or «ANIOSURF».

How Antimicrobial Technology Works

Applying Veraco Antimicrobial Surface covers directly to touchpoints creates a vital layer of protection that works alongside routine cleaning and hand hygiene. Micro-living organisms adhere to touchpoints after use, leading to surface contamination. With Veraco applied to surfaces the antimicrobial layer triggers a reaction causing failure to the DNA and biological composition of these microorganisms - Inhibiting their growth, preventing reproduction and their ability to survive on the surface.

Examples of other applications of antimicrobial technology in healthcare are: Silver wound dressings, Disinfectant wipes, coatings on catheters.
